Let’s Bring Back the Long Leather Coat #FallFashion2018

The Matrix did it almost 20 years ago, so it’s time for a comeback.

Fall is probably the greatest fashion period of the year – between putting on huge trendy scarfs or cute skirts, getting dressed in September is almost the same as getting ready for a cat walk.

It’s true! Everyone is trying to impress their peers and friends with what they decide to wear that it almost becomes a competition. Well, it is a competition – right?

Well I must say that I’m very pleased because I finally found the “piece de resistance” that will make my fall super fashionable. That’s right, the long leather coat.

You might remember seeing my favourite heroine wearing it in the early Buffy the Vampire Slayer seasons:

Well, even though I might’ve not find a more recent TV show with a character wearing it, all I’m saying is that it’s time to bring back this key piece of fashion.

Here’s mine below:

So, I was very happy to get that jacket especially without spending any money on it. That’s right, I got it from my aunt who was giving away some of her old jackets. Obviously when I saw it I remembered being obsessed with Buffy wearing it and I was feeling very blessed about receiving it just in time for the fall season.

I’m not sure how many other people are actually wearing this style of jacket right now but isn’t fashion about taking risks and knowing what makes you look good? I feel super confident wearing it and I feel like it screams fall fashion.

I suggest going to some downtown thrift shops because I honestly did some online window shopping right now and none of the stores that you would think would have it actually them – so I’m kind of heart broken but it’s okay. I am hopeful that the trend will pick up but then again, if some of us can be unique by wearing that jacket, why not?

What do you think of the jacket? Are you in or out?
