Some legal action is officially being taking against the beloved new Netflix series’, Chilling Adventures o Sabrina.
That’s right, the Satanic Temple is claiming that the show copied the statue of the goat deity, Baphomet (you know, that big statue at Sabrina’s magic school?)
The religious organization filed a $50 million copyright suit claiming that the temple created this statue around 2013 and 2014. According to Variety and Vanity Fair, the group expressed last week that ‘it feels that the show is misappropriating its iconography to play into negative ‘Satanic Panic’ stereotypes surrounding its ideology.’
